Last week in Costa Rica, I zip lined
S E V E N platforms
I’ve never felt so terrified in my life
It was amazing
For 2 hours I shook
Hooked on to the next platform, lifted my legs off the ledge, & did it again
And again
And again
And again
And again
And again
And again
It never got easier
I still had to deep breathe and remind myself I was safe in my body
Safe on this zip line
Safe in the hands of these incredible men that acted as our guides
Today I learned I can do really terrifying things
I survived
I screamed, and whooped, and hollered
It was intense as f*ck!
But the views were incredible
Volcanoes (yes, more than one)
A beautiful lake
Gorgeous trees and ferns and wildlife
I’m so glad I did it
This experience has given me a whole new outlook on life on hard things
